Why do the volume level on my phone and the speaker’s LEDs not match?
The control panel has 9 LEDs that change as the volume is adjusted. Most phones have 16 volume levels, so one adjustment on the phone does not necessarily correspond to one adjustment on the speaker. The volume levels are also not linear: there are more steps at low volume and fewer at high volume. This avoids drastic changes when listening at low volume.
Why does the volume decrease automatically?
While charging, ES1 plays at 50-70% volume and may automatically adjust the volume to prevent overload during charging.
